As a precaution patients are encouraged to avoid coming to the surgery wherever possible to avoid the potential spread of coronavirus. Any patients with flu like symptoms, a cough or high temperature are strongly advised not to visit the surgery and to self isolate at home. For more information please click here.
When patients call for a “book on the day” appointment in the morning they will be offered a telephone 'triage' appointment with a clinician by the reception staff. They will take your name and telephone number and a brief outline of the reason why you need an appointment. One of trained clinicians will then call back and provide remote help if possible, or make arrangements if they feel it is necessary for the patient to be seen for a face to face examination.
Patients with pre-booked appointments with our Nurses or Healthcare Assistants will be contacted before their appointments by a clinician who will advise if it is appropriate for you to attend your appointment or not.
Patients are encouraged to request their prescriptions electronically via patient online services e.g. The NHS APP or by emailing their request to firstname.lastname@example.org
We have suspended on-line booking of appointments inline with national guidance relating to the control of coronavirus.
