Though most COVID-19 restrictions have been changed, we continue to have several in place in healthcare facilities. This includes the wearing of a face covering unless you are medically exempt. We have also had to amend our appointments systems to reflect these conditions.
We recommend anyone who has online access to use our eConsult service. This will help speed up our response to you and you’ll be able to 'skip' the phone queue. If you’re unable to use eConsult and you wish to see a doctor, you will be booked on a telephone triage slot – this means the doctor will telephone you and, if needed, will arrange a face-to-face appointment. Telephone triage appointments can be booked using our automated, 24/7 booking system (option 1 when you call the surgery). Please note that our reception team cannot book you to see a doctor directly. Should you require any other appointments (such as blood tests and nurse reviews) or if you have any problems using eConsult/24-7 automated booking system, then please speak to our reception team who will be able to assist you based on the latest guidance we receive from Public Health England.
